M-AHSC GROUSE TRIAL - SUNDAY FEBRUARY 21, 2010
Judges: All stakes will be run in wooded cover (typical grouse cover). Chukar Partridges will be used in all stakes. The following stakes will consist of two series, each series will consist of at least two contacts. Additional contacts and callbacks for the second series will be at the judge's discretion. (Complete rules and standards will be available for review at the grounds)
Registration: Registration for all stakes will start at 7:30 am the day of the event. The first stake will start at 8:30 am. Entries will remain open until the start of that particular stake. Entry fee for each stake will be $50.00. Dogs may be entered in more than one stake provided they meet the entry rules for that stake.

Safety: All people on the course must wear a visible item of blaze orange clothing. We also strongly recommend safety glasses and snag/tear proof clothing.
Directions to Mason Dixon Game Farm: From Baltimore: Take 83 North to exit 31 (Middletown Rd - Parkton).Left off exit ramp onto Middletown Rd. Stay on Middletown Rd. approx. 8 miles to the PA line at Gardner's Garage. Continue straight, now 851W, for 6/10 mile to Hildebrand Rd (on bad curve). Turn right on Hildebrand Rd. Proceed ½ mile to first farm on the left. From York: Take 83 South to exit 4 (Shrewsbury). Right off exit ramp onto Shrewsbury-851W. Follow 851W thru Railroad and into New Freedom. In New Freedom at hardware store, turn right and follow 851W for 5 miles. After passing Rutter's Farm Store, turn right on first hard road (on bad curve) Hildebrand Rd. Proceed ½ mile to first farm on the left. From Winchester VA & Frederick MDTake Route 7 east to Route 340 at Berryville. Head north on 340, stay on the bypass around Charles Town and continue on 340 (it will join 15) to Frederick. Exit Rt. 15 to I-70 East towards Baltimore. After about 13 miles take the Mount Airy / Westminster exit Route 27 North. Stay on 27 thru Westminster, to the small town on Manchester. At stoplight in Manchester, make a left onto Route 30.Go about 1 mile, and make a right onto Route 86/Lineboro Rd.Take Lineboro Rd. for about 5 or 6 miles, thru the town of Lineboro, and into Pennsylvania. You will still be on the same road, but in PA it becomes Route 516.Continue on 516 for another 4 miles to the "town" of Sticks. At stopsign, make a right onto route 851. Stay on 851 for 2 or 3 miles, and make a left onto Hildebrand Road. Walkers Farm is the first farm on the left.
