The M-ASHC will be hosting two AKC licensed
Spaniel Hunting Tests this fall

Saturday, August 25, 2007 and Sunday, August 26, 2007

All tests are open to all AKC registerable breeds of Flushing Spaniels, plus FSS-recorded Boykin Spaniels, six months of age or over on the day of the Hunting Test. Entries will be limited to 40 dogs overall. Entries will close when the limit is reached, if this occurs prior to the specified closing date. Entries will be refunded for a bitch coming in season; a dog who is injured, ill or who dies; and entry cancelled before closing; or a dog on the stand-by list after closing.

Schedule and Entry Fees

Pheasants and/or Chukars will be used for the Master and Senior tests. Chukars will be used for the Junior test.

Hillendale is NW of Altoona PA, 90 miles east of Pittsburgh.

Traveling on I-99, (new Rt. 220), 9 miles North of Altoona and 6 miles South of Tyrone, Exit at Bellwood, (Rt. 865). At first stop sign, TURN RIGHT, and come over Skelp Mountain. At stop sign in Skelp, TURN RIGHT. Go one mile to stop sign, DRIVE STRAIGHT THRU. Travel one and one half miles to "T".

Take a right and go about a quarter mile. Right before the Lutheran church turn left onto gravel road (past cemetary) and go about 3/4 mile to the grounds. Field is on the left, pond and picnic shelter to the right.

The Clubhouse is across from the Lutheran Church.
The Farm, office and kennel is 1 mile from the "T" in the other direction (turn left).

Traveling West from Huntingdon, at Water Street, TURN RIGHT onto Rt. 453 North toward Tyrone. Go 3 miles and TURN LEFT at road sign to Arch Springs. Travel 2 miles to Presbyterian Church. At church, TURN LEFT. Travel 2 miles past Farm, office, and kennel. Right before the Lutheran church turn left onto gravel road (past cemetary) and go about 3/4 mile to the grounds. Field is on the left, pond and picnic shelter to the right.
