NAFC FC Salmy's Millie of Ru-Char
In the same manner that Sunrise Bess "nicked" well with Roger Jr, Millie played an important role in the Ru-Char's of the 90's, especially when paired with FC AFC Valleyviews Buddy of Ru-Char. She brought with her an infusion of Zinger and Streak and some classic English lines. You will also note that she is the foundation for Ralph Botti's Triple Ridges line, a continuation of the Ru-Char tradition. Of Millie, Mike Wallace states "She wasn't really a Ru-Char, but Ralph (Botti) though the name should be tacked on." Still, she was an important outcross in the continuation of the Ru-Char type.
About Millie, Ralph said "If all Springers were like Millie, there wouldn't be any other breed. She was every handlers dream."
